Did the Fraggles inspire the Friends? It may seem like a silly question, but I say yes. While Fraggle Rock might not have directly influenced Friends, I think there are some interesting parallels within the two casts. There you have it. Not necessarily a very scholarly breakdown, but I think it’s a theory worth considering. Or at least forwarding to your friends or fraggles.

Some fans are making the case that DVD stands for "democratic video disc." Empowered by the DVD-fueled resurrection of Fox's Family Guy, fans of other TV shows are standing up for their faves. Fox canceled Family Guy in 2002 after its third year, but it became a hit on video and is set to return to the air in May.
